MISSION
Our Mission
The United Global Alliance For Men & Boys exists to advance the rights, health, safety and wellbeing of men and boys worldwide, and to address the global male suicide crisis with the seriousness it demands.
Why the Alliance was founded
In 2010 the United Nations created UN Women. Sixteen years later, there is still no United Nations body for men, leaving half of the world's population unrepresented in the midst of a global male suicide crisis.
The United Global Alliance For Men & Boys (UN for Men) was created to declare a Global State of Emergency and to meet this immediate need. The Alliance seeks formal recognition within the United Nations system.
Fathers & family.
Recognising the role of fathers in children's lives and supporting family relationships that let children keep both parents.
Men's health & suicide.
Treating male suicide as the global emergency it is, and improving men's physical and mental health throughout their lives.
Justice & courts.
Promoting fair and equal treatment of men and boys across justice systems and family courts.
